USGS Earth Science Information Center (ESIC)

The USGS Earth Science Information Centers (ESIC) is the primary source of public information on all USGS activities and products. The ESIC can provide:

    • Information about USGS research and activities
    • Information about USGS products (data, maps, publications)
    • Information about natural science materials from many other public and private producers in the United States
    • Assistance finding and purchasing USGS products
    • Assistance using USGS products and data
    • Assistance locating USGS websites on the Internet
    • The ESIC in Anchorage also provides Alaska-specific information on trails, parks, and agencies
